On a night in which YouTubers will be taking over the boxing world, KSI is ready to up the ante on August 27 inside the O2 Arena in London.
KSI recently announced that he will be boxing twice on the MF & DAZN: X Series card. He was supposed to fight Alex Wassabi before he backed out due to a concussion. KSI will now be fighting rapper Swarmz. After that fight, win or lose, KSI will face off against pro boxer Ivan Nikolov.
The MF & DAZN: X Series will showcase the biggest global names in entertainment, sports and lifestyle competing against one another.

On Twitter, KSI teased something that has never been done before. He credited it as a “two for the price of one” PPV event. Announcing the fight on his YouTube channel, KSI explained why he chose to fight twice in one night. Only one name stood out that was available.
“It’s never been done before in YouTube boxing,” KSI said, via Mirror. “In fact, I don’t think it has ever been done in normal boxing on pay-per-view. We asked Bryce Hall, we asked Dax, we asked Vinnie Hacker, we asked Taylor Holder, and they either couldn’t do it or said no.
“So I decided to fight someone who would beat all those people I mentioned before. I am fighting a pro boxer. For my second fight, on the same night. I am fighting Swarmz and a Bulgarian boxer on the same night.
“Am I insane? Probably? Am I crazy? Probably? Is this ridiculous? Probably.”
KSI predicts that the second fight will bring in more viewers. He went on to brag about his level of opponents, saying there are better than any of Jake Paul’s fights. KSI and Paul have been teasing a fight between one another in the ring for years.
One caveat regarding the second fight: doctors have stated that if KSI has a cut or is too injured to compete, he will not fight Nikolov.

Nikolov, 43, made his pro debut in 2017. The Bulgarian has a record of 3-16-2. His last win was in 2019, and he is 0-10-1 in his past 11 fights. On an eight-fight losing streak, Nikolov last fought in July, losing to Petar Dragonov via knockout.
Nine of his 16 losses have come via knockout.
“He is going to be the most durable fighter I’ve ever faced, he loves to f—— swing. He has decent head movement; he can take bangs,” KSI stated about his opponent. “He’s a pro boxer, and he knows how to stay safe. What the f— am I doing? I know you’re wondering what his boxing record is; he’s 3-16-2. That’s three wins and 16 losses, but that’s still more wins than all of Jake Paul’s opponents combined.”

KSI started his boxing career with a TKO win over Joe Weller in an amateur bout in February 2018. He then fought Logan Paul in August of that year in Manchester. The fight ended in a majority decision draw.
Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing liked what they saw and gave KSI and Paul an opportunity. In a legitimate fight inside Los Angeles’ Staples Center, KSI beat Paul via split decision in 2019. KSI and Alex Wassabi were going to fight before Wassabi backed out.

The fight between KSI and Swarmz will be broadcast via DAZN pay-per-view in the U.S. and the U.K.
Customers in the U.K. can sign up for DAZN for £7.99 per month. The U.K. PPV price for KSI vs. Swarmz is £11.99 for existing subscribers and £19.98 for new subscribers.
