Drew McIntyre shares when he found out about Karrion Kross’ WWE return – Wrestling News

Karrion Kross returned to WWE along with Scarlett Bordeaux on the August 5th episode of SmackDown, where he attacked Drew McIntyre.
After laying out the top WWE star, Scarlett signaled to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns that his time was running out as she put the hourglass into the ring. Kross and Scarlett were let go by WWE last November.
As previously reported, Kross’ return was kept quiet as the company wanted to surprise fans, and they did just that.
At the end of his interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, McIntyre was asked about Kross’ return. He noted that he didn’t know about it until the last second.
“Was very surprised to see him. I didn’t know until the very last second. We could say a little bit more here than we say in general but let’s just say he’s somebody who’s worked hard for an opportunity, deserves that opportunity, and he’s getting the biggest opportunity of his career. Unfortunately for him, it’s not gonna come at Drew McIntyre’s expense.”
In this same interview, McIntyre spoke about how he cut the ring ropes at WrestleMania 38.
