A lights out match is set for next week’s NXT.
During Tuesday’s show, it was announced that Wendy Choo and Tiffany Stratton will meet in the Lights Out match next week. In addition, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen will defend the NXT UK Tag Team titles against Gallus. Grayson Waller will also introduce his new talk show, The Grayson Waller Effect, with first guest Apollo Crews.
Tuesday’s show had Stratton and Choo talk about their continuing rivalry, including Choo attacking Stratton in her dressing room with the lights turned off on last week's show. Choo mentioned that everything she did to Stratton last week would be legal in the Lights Out match, and the arena would be darker during the match.
Gallus made their NXT debut on tonight’s show, attacking Diamond Mine as they were arguing in the ring. They later confronted Briggs and Jensen in a backstage interview, saying they held the titles for 497 days. They set up the title match for next week.
