An NXT UK invasion began at NXT Heatwave last night.
The special NXT 2.0 episode featured appearances by NXT United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate, Blair Davenport, and Gallus. Bate appeared at the end of the episode, confronting Bron Breakker and seemingly challenging him to a champion vs. champion match.
Davenport was involved in a backstage segment with Indi Hartwell. Davenport called herself the future NXT Women's Champion.
Gallus attacked Diamond Mine on last night's show. It was also announced that Gallus will challenge Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen for the NXT UK Tag Team titles next Tuesday.
NXT Champion Breakker, NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose, and NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes all retained their titles at Heatwave. Two grudge matches also took place on the show. Cora Jade defeated Roxanne Perez, while Santos Escobar is now banned from NXT after losing a street fight to Tony D'Angelo.
