The 2022 Formula One season is only halfway over, but behind the scenes the motorsport class is already working hard to complete the calendar for the new racing year. According to journalist Joe Saward, the Dutch Grand Prix seems to be moved, he writes on his blog.

While this year’s Belgian GP is scheduled for the end of August, the Formula One circus travels to the Netherlands one week later to experience the Dutch GP. However, it seems that the Spa-Francorchamps circuit will no longer be part of the calendar next year, meaning that Zandvoort will reportedly be on the programme a week earlier. A week later, according to Saward, the race weekend in Italy will then take place.
However, the journalist has heard more around him. It is expected that the GPs in Austin, Mexico and Brazil will form a triple-header. In addition, Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi would be two successive race weekends in 2023. The season will again start in Bahrain.
Although the schedule will be even fuller next season, this does not mean that the racing season will be longer. According to Saward, the organisation is doing its best to have the season end at the end of November so that the teams have enough rest between seasons.
