New match announced for tonight’s episode of WWE NXT – Wrestling News

WWE has announced a non-title bout for tonight’s edition of NXT as NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate will battle Von Wagner.
On last week’s episode of NXT: Heatwave, NXT Champion Bron Breakker successfully retained the title over JD McDonough (Jordan Deville). Following the bout, Bate walked out to confront Breakker where they had a staredown while holding up both of their titles.
This appears to be the main event of the Worlds Collide event on September 4th.
More NXT UK stars are expected to show up on NXT 2.0 while WWE prepares to launch NXT Europe next year. Here is the updated card for tonight’s show:
Wendy Choo and Tiffany Stratton will meet in the Lights Out match.
Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen will defend the NXT UK Tag Team titles against Gallus.
