WWE is reportedly interested in bringing back former Universal Champion, Braun Strowman.
According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE has pitched the idea of the 38-year-old returning. Strowman was released from the promotion on June 2, 2021. Sources within the company have said that Strowman currently looks "ring ready" and "better now than when he was in WWE."
Since leaving WWE last summer, Strowman has appeared at ROH Final Battle 2021, and in several matches for Control Your Narrative under his real name, Adam Scherr. He's also wrestled twice for Northeast Wrestling in that time.
Another name WWE is interested in bringing back is the former Bronson Reed. Our own Andrew Zarian noted on We're Live, Pal last week that the wrestler now known as JONAH is someone there have been discussions about. JONAH recently competed in the G1 Climax 32 for NJPW. He finished with a 4-2 record and defeated eventual tournament winner, Kazuchika Okada. JONAH was released from WWE on August 6, 2021.
