Everton boss Frank Lampard says Anthony Gordon will not be leaving Everton in the current transfer window.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with Chelsea, who have had bids of £40m and £50m knocked back by the Toffees.
When asked about his chances of keeping Gordon at Everton after their 1-1 draw with Leeds, Lampard said: “I’m very confident.
“Deadline [to decide to sell him] has passed. He’s too important a player, he’s shown his worth. What good what it do us to do anything with Anthony now?”Fulham boss Marco Silva is hoping to complete the double signing of Justin Kluivert and Willian before the transfer deadline.
The Portuguese boss has been candid in his need for more additions to his squad before tomorrow’s 11pm deadline.
And with the imminent arrival of Kluivert, who is signing for £9m from RB Leipzig, and free agent Willian, the Cottagers boss wants more new faces.
“I hope we can sign those players and probably something more,” he told reporters.
Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo is set for another loan spell away from the club as he prepares to sign for Sunderland.
The 21-year-old spent six months on loan at Rangers last season before returning to Old Trafford this summer.
But the Ivorian is now poised for another temporary spell out on loan to gain first-team experience with Championship new boys Sunderland taking him on a season-long loan deal.
That’s according to The Daily Mail’s Craig Hope, who says the Black Cats are ‘closing in’ on an agreement.
Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira has denied reports Chelsea are in talks over a deal to sign Wilfried Zaha.
The 29-year-old scored his fourth goal of the season in the 1-1 draw with Brentford and reports had suggested the Blues had opened negotiations over a move for the forward, who is out of contract next summer.
But Vieira said after the game: “There is nothing coming from any other club.”Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has completed his loan switch to Sampdoria, the club have announced.
The 26-year-old has been out of favour for some time under Antonio Conte and has linked up with the Italian side on a season-long loan.
Winks has made over 200 appearances for the club but failed to make a start since February and is now looking forward to a new challenge in Italy.
Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Sergino Dest after it emerged the Barcelona full-back is keen on a switch to Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag wants to reunite with the USA international after working together at Ajax, with Dest out of favour at the Camp Nou.
ESPN report the 21-year-old is ‘open’ to joining the Red Devils either on a loan or permanent deal, with Barcelona also likely to be willing to negotiate on a deal.
That could give Aaron Wan-Bissaka the green light to return to former club Crystal Palace if they can arrange a deal in time before tomorrow’s deadline.
Nottingham Forest are set to welcome their 19th summer signing with the arrival of Willy Boly from Wolves.
The 31-year-old was absent after failing to turn up for their 1-1 draw with Newcastle at the weekend and Bruno Lage confirmed Boly was seeking a move away.
It now appears that Steve Cooper’s newly-promoted side will finalise a deal for the centre-back, with Foot Mercato confirming the two parties have agreed personal terms.
Arsenal have been told they will have to pay around £25million to capture Shakhtar Donetsk starlet Mykhaylo Mudryk this summer.
The 21-year-old has been courted by several European clubs due to his creative influence and the Gunners have declared their interest in the highly-rated attacker.
Shakhtar are ready to demand a fee of £25m for the winger, who is under contract until 2026, meaning the north London side will have to dig deep into their pockets.

Chelsea have launched a £77m (€90m) bid for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol, according to reports.
Fabrizio Romano reports the Blues have made a substantial offer to the Bundesliga outfit which would see the 20-year-old sign now and remain on loan with Leipzig until 2023.
Negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs and the deal could take Chelsea’s spending past £300m for the current transfer window.Arsenal are reportedly considering a late approach for PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo after Manchester United cooled their interest.
Sky Sports News’ Melissa Reddy claims the Gunners are assessing the Dutch star’s situation ahead of a potential deadline day bid for the 23-year-old, who scored 21 goals in the Eredivisie last season.
Gakpo is valued at around £35m by his club, making a late transfer difficult. But Arsenal are looking for a winger after offloading Nicolas Pepe on loan and Gakpo has emerged as their top target.
United were keen on Gakpo but have just completed a £84m deal for Ajax star Antony, but with interest from Arsenal and Southampton, it remains possible that he could head to the Premier League in the next 36 hours.Leicester City have found a replacement for Wesley Fofana before the transfer deadline after finalising a deal to sign Wout Faes from Reims.
The 24-year-old has accepted a five-year deal with the Foxes and will arrive from the Ligue 1 outfit for an undisclosed fee, although Belgian outlet HLN report it is ‘higher’ than the £10m offered by Torino earlier this summer.
Faes has been capped once by Belgium and is regarded as one of the nations’ most promising defenders. He will take the place of Fofana, who is set to sign for Chelsea in a £70m+ deal.
PSG full-back Layvin Kurzawa is expected to fly to London on Wednesday as he prepares to join Fulham on a permanent deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the French defender is just waiting for the ‘green light’ from his club before signing with the Cottagers.
Kurzawa has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and it seems the 28-year-old will finally get his wish after the west London outfit agreed a deal with the Parisian giants.
It could be a busy deadline day for Fulham as Justin Kluivert and Willian look set to join Kurzawa at Craven Cottage.
Manchester United are considering a late approach for Barcelona full-back Sergino Dest, according to reports.
It was understood their £84m capture of Antony from Ajax and loan signing of Martin Dubravka would be United’s final business of the transfer window.
However, Sky Sports News’ Dharmesh Sheth claim the Red Devils may reunite Erik ten Hag with his former protege Dest, who came through the Ajax academy under the Dutchman.
If the 21-year-old can be signed in time, it would enable Aaron Wan-Bissaka to leave before the deadline with Crystal Palace interested in bringing back the right-back to Selhurst Park.Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon has sealed his return to his native Spain after signing for Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old, a product of Real Madrid’s academy, will link up with the La Liga giants for the rest of the 2022-23 season.
It is understood the Spain international’s switch is a straight loan and does not contain an option to make the move permanent.West Ham boss David Moyes has insisted he would like to keep Craig Dawson at the club but admits his future is a “complicated situation”.
The centre-back has been linked with Aston Villa and Wolves as the 31-year-old reportedly wants to be closer to his family back in the Midlands. And Moyes has not dismissed the idea of selling before the transfer deadline.
“Ideally we wouldn’t, but it’s probably a much more complicated situation,” he told reporters when asked about letting Dawson leave.
He added: “I wouldn’t completely say no [to more business], but it might not be yes either. It may not be some people coming in, but may be some going out.”
Manchester City have made a late move to agree a deal for Borussia Dortmund centre-back Manuel Akanji, according to reports.
The Athletic reports Pep Guardiola’s side are ‘close’ to agreeing a £17.5m deal for the Switzerland international, who was set to become a free agent next summer.
Akanji, 27, had emerged on Leicester City’s radar as a replacement for Chelsea-bound Wesley Fofana, who is likely to seal a £70m switch before the transfer deadline.
But Guardiola has kept his cards close to his chest to secure the defender in a cut-price deal and bolster his backline.Fulham have reached an agreement to sign Justin Kluivert from Roma, according to reports.
The Cottagers want to strengthen their attacking options in the remaining days of the transfer window to ease the burden on Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Kluvert is the son of former Barcelona striker Patrick Kluivert.
PSG midfielder Leandro Peredes would prefer a move to Juventus over Arsenal despite being offered to the Gunners, according to reports.

The Blues want £12m for Alonso, who has fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Marc Cucurella and the return to fitness of Ben Chilwell. Manchester United have confirmed that a deal has been agreed with Ajax for winger Antony.
The 22-year-old will join the Red Devils in a deal worth around £84m (€100m).
Antony developed under Erik ten Hag at Ajax and was identified by the Dutchman as a key target upon his appointment at Old Trafford back in May.

Sky Sports report that Fulham also want to prise Justin Kluivert away from Roma.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has joined Bayern Leverkusen on loan for the remainder of the season.

Southampton are considering making another bid. Manchester United are in discussions with Newcastle over a deal for goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, Magpies head coach Eddie Howe has confirmed.
United boss Erik ten Hag wants a new second-choice goalkeeper to compete with David de Gea.
Dubravka has been linked with the Red Devils. Wide-ranging reports suggest that the deal could be an initial loan move with a £5m option to buy the Slovakian.
“Discussions have taken place between the clubs. I don’t think anything is concluded, as I sit here now,” Howe said.
“From my point of view, I’ll be sad if Martin does leave. I’ll be sad to see him go.
“It’s certainly not something we wanted as a football club, but we understand that there are always two sides to every story.”
Wolves transfer target Sasa Kalajdzic is reportedly set to undergo a medical ahead of a £15m switch from Stuttgart.
Kalajdzic had been linked with Manchester United earlier in the transfer window but the Red Devils chose not to pursue a deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the giant striker will undergo a medical on Tuesday ahead of completing a permanent move.
A contract until 2027 has been signed with an option for a further year. Everton are interested in signing Wolves midfielder Leander Dendoncker, according to reports.
Frank Lampard wants to strengthen his defensive midfield options before Thursday’s 11PM transfer deadline.
Sky Sports report that Belgian star Dendoncker is on their list of targets.
Liverpool have been told that a £42m bid for Moises Caicedo would only be enough to secure the midfielder’s boots.
Reports have suggested that the Reds could try to solve their midfield crisis by launching a proposal for the 20-year-old.
But Brighton boss Graham Potter said: “In football you never know, but we are quite calm and confident. You’d probably get his boots for that from the chairman — maybe! £100m? They can try.
“It doesn’t surprise me that people are looking at him because he is playing at a fantastic level.
“As soon as you do research on him you realise he is a top kid, great person, young, playing in the Premier League, has all the attributes to play at the very, very highest level.”
Former Chelsea attacker Willian is set to sign for Fulham on a one-year deal, according to reports.

Wesley Fofana is due to undergo the second part of his Chelsea medical on Tuesday.
The Athletic were first to report that the defender was due to fly to the US this week to have medical checks.
That is because Chelsea’s new American owners want ‘peace of mind’ over a near-£80m deal.
Fofana, who will join the Blues from Leicester, returned from a serious broken leg injury in February.
Chelsea want absolute assurance that it will not have long-term affects on his wellbeing before paying the Foxes a huge fee. Arsenal have added surprise new target Mychajlo Mudryk to their shortlist, according to reports.
Mikel Arteta wants to sign a new winger before the deadline. However, deals for either Pedro Neto or Wilfried Zaha could prove tricky.
