Beloved former England footballer Peter Crouch will visit Bath next month for his only UK event and signing for his new book How To Be An Ex-Footballer . He is due to appear at the Bath Forum on 10th October.
The Tottenham, Liverpool and Portsmouth forward has remained popular since his retirement thanks to appearances as a TV pundit and the huge success of That Peter Crouch Podcast . He will be interviewed at the event by co-host of the pod and award-winning BBC Chief Sports Writer Tom Fordyce.
Crouch also played for Queens Park Rangers, Aston Villa, Norwich, Southampton and Stoke, scored over 100 Premier League goals, has 42 England caps and holds the record for the most headed goals in Premier League history. He was also loved for his iconic 'robot' dance celebration.

Tickets to the event cost £20 and include a signed first edition of the book. The interview will start at 7.30pm on Monday 10 October – perfect timing ahead of this winter's World Cup.
How To Be A Footballer sees Crouch discuss what footballers do when they are thrown into the real world after retiring from the 'beautiful game', having only ever worked on developing the skill of kicking a ball.
Modern-day footballers are often recruited as young children and may learn little about the world beyond the training ground, even if they become superstars earning huge amounts of money. The book sees Crouch talk to veterans of the sport, coaches, managers, owners and pundits.
Speaking to those who have moved onto pastures new, he encounters bizarre stories from entrepreneurs, men of the cloth, eco warriors, artists, private detectives and budding actors, as well as those who’ve lost their way in addiction, crime and NFTs.
The book promises to "make you think about ex footballers in a way you never have before".
