Bill Sivewright was a Lothians Golf Association president who was a proud Prestonfield member.
The team event bearing his name is for Affiliate Clubs and the final is traditionally played at Prestonfield.
From a starting line up of 23 teams, this year’s title decider was between the Smarts TSB team from Prestonfield and Liberton club Mount Vernon.
Victory went to the Smarts TSB side comprising Alan Dickson, Shaun Kelley, Richard Wight and Alistair Goodwin.

The win was set up by the first couple over the double foursome against a Mount Vernon quartet comprising Iain Jennings, Scott Stuart, Keith Liddell and Donald McDonald.
In 2018, Smarts, a different team from Prestonfield had claimed the prize for the first time and another good run was only ended on this occasion by Mount Vernon in the semi-finals.
