Liverpool hero Steve Nicol believes Christian Pulisic has given Graham Potter ‘something to think about’ after helping Chelsea beat Wolves.

The Blues clinched their third successive win under Potter after beating a lacklustre Wolves 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Kai Havertz, playing up front in replace of the rested Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, put the hosts in front on the stroke of half-time.
Ten minutes after the break, USA international Pulisic marked only his second league start of the season with his first goal since May.
Armando Broja netted his first Chelsea goal late on as the Blues continued their impressive form under Potter and piled more misery on Wolves, who remain in the relegation zone.
Former Liverpool defender Nicol was impressed by Chelsea’s win over Wolves and believes Pulisic sent a message to his manager with his performance.
‘It’s difficult to put your finger on the changes Graham Potter has made [since Thomas Tuchel’s sacking], but it’s probably that every Chelsea player has a little skip in their step,’ Nicol told ESPN.
‘When you get a new manager it’s almost like a new start and all the players are desperate to make Potter happy and show what they can do.
‘I guess today, someone like Pulisic absolutely did that. He could’ve scored in the first half but he made up for it with his goal after half-time.
‘If you’re Pulisic, you’re going home happy because you’ve given Potter something to think about.’

Nicol, who won four league titles at Anfield, added: ‘Every manager – especially a new manager – wants to get some wins on the board and that’s three from three now.
‘At Chelsea you’re expected to win but you’re also expected to play good football. That’s why Potter will be delighted, because they’re playing nice football and winning games.
‘You can’t ask for more than that. He made lots of changes but they still won very comfortably. As well as they played, you have to say Wolves were so poor and it’s worrying times for them.’
Potter hailed the way his squad have responded to his arrival after they beat Wolves to move back into the top-four.

He said: ‘I’ve said from the start I’ve been impressed with how open, honest and responsible they are.
‘It’s difficult to keep the same XI with the schedule but there is an element of consistency to how we play. Really happy with the boys and how we’ve recovered.
‘Winning games helps so we look forward to the games, it’s about hard work, it’s being together, that stuff is important but the guys have been really impressive.’
