The show saw Santos Escobar lose to Ricochet in the finals of the SmackDown World Cup. It also featured Tegan Nox returning to help out Liv Morgan against Damage CTRL.
After this week’s show went off the air, Matt Riddle, Braun Strowman, Madcap Moss, and Liv Morgan beat Legado Del Fantasma, Damian Priest, and Zelina Vega in the dark match. This was certainly a treat for the live fans who stayed late.
This week’s show certainly set up quite a few future storylines. Now it remains to be seen how WWE will be capitalizing on its momentum right now. For the time being, it is certainly good to be a WWE fan.
