Dexter Lumis was back in WWE NXT to reunite with Indi Hartwell.
The two were part of The Way and quickly became fan favorites in the company. Their romance storyline became one of the best things about NXT television during the COVID-19 pandemic era.
Lumis proposed to Hartwell last year, and she accepted. They got married but were separated when Lumis was let go by the company. He was brought back by Triple H earlier this year.
Lumis had been teasing on Twitter that he might return to NXT for a live event, and it happened on Friday night in Jacksonville.
It happened after Lumis beat Javier Bernal. The two stars embraced, and fans were happy to see them together again.
