WWE is repackaging Lacey Evans' character – Wrestling News

Lacey Evans is getting repackaged again and this time it looks like they got it right.
Evans was shown training in her Marine Corps. camouflage gear and the way it was filmed, it looked like she was in boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina.
The video plays off her real-life background because she is a former United States Marine. This is the latest attempt to repackage her but this time it should work out better since she is not playing a role that is not so far off from who she is in real life.
Several months back, Vince McMahon's idea was to move away from the Sassy Southern Belle character and have Evans come back as the faux babyface who is really a heel. They went back and forth on those plans and then she ultimately disappeared from TV for a few months.
