WWE star appears close to returning to the ring – Wrestling News

Charlotte Flair continues to have fans speculate about her making a WWE return soon.
The former WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion shared a photo on her Instagram stories of herself in the ring with NXT’s Zoey Stark and Alba Fyre after what appears to be a training session.
This comes after Flair posted a photo of her ring boots on her Instagram stories earlier this week.
Flair hasn’t been seen on WWE television since dropping the SmackDown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey in an I Quit Match at WrestleMania Backlash in May. After the match, Flair was written off television as she was getting married to AEW’s Andrade El Idolo earlier this summer and wanted the time off for the special occasion.
Andrade previously stated that Flair has been away from WWE television due to personal reasons. With the Royal Rumble taking place next month, it will be interesting to see whether WWE waits to bring her back at the event or books the surprise return before then.
